Referred to as Sask. WTF, Grand Master Kee S. Ha and Grand Master Sung Ju Kim founded this non profit corporation in 1981. The mandate was to provide the benefits of the World Taekwondo Federation (WTF) to the people of Saskatchewan.

The Elite Athlete of the year awards were announced and presented at the 2009 Saskatchewan Taekwondo Championships in Regina by SASK WTF President, Glen Berger.  The categories are decided upon the performances and medal standings of the nominated athletes.  Kees  Yorkton Taekwondo dominated the finalists in the majority of categories.  The winners receive a cash award to be used to further their competitive dreams of becoming national team members.

The Winners are:

AT KEES Yorkton we are extremely proud of our athlete's dedication and effort.  Coach Graeme Mitchell is quick to point out that this is just the beginning.  There is more room to raise our own bar and become this successful on the National then International stage.  With this strong desire to improve through a hard work ethic and a methodical training plan these athletes with great potential will continue to strive towards their dreams of a national team berth.
